Most of you likely do not know that I grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. Indiana is a state that takes basketball VERY seriously, and Bloomington is even more so. This is where Indiana University is and as a result of growing up in the heart of Hoosier land, I am a die-hard IU basketball fan.
I won’t even begin to tell you how hard the last few years have been. Brutal. Serious guy sports anguish. But that dark time is over and IU has a number one tournament seed.
So, what I am trying to do is make a confession to all of you. I get asked on a pretty frequent basis when book three is going to come out. I usually (somewhat sheepishly) respond that I am working on it and it goes more slowly than I would like. Well, for the next week, possibly two, I will not get much writing done.
There, I’ve said it.
I love the NCAA Tourney and I am planning on drinking it in this year. It is one of the few vices I let myself indulge in. I will be taking time off work and basking in the madness.
So, I apologize for slacking off on the book. To perhaps somewhat make it up to you, I am posting a photograph of the location of the first chapter in Bonds That Break. I’m not going to tell you where it is, but I wonder if any of you can figure it out?
